Springhill Hospice Summer Garden Celebration

Date published: 23 July 2018

Springhill Hospice is inviting garden groupies and family day-trippers alike to its award-winning gardens for its brand-new Summer Garden Celebration day.

This family-friendly day out will not only give the public a chance to see the award-winning gardens in full bloom, but they’ll also be able to enjoy family activities, games, stalls, cakes and even face painting for the kids.

Head Gardener Nick Dent said: “With the beautiful weather we have had recently, mixed with the occasional tropical rainfall, the gardens are looking better than ever” enthused. “What better way of spending a summer’s day than with family and friends in beautiful surroundings?”

The Summer Garden Celebration day will also welcome those who are remembering a loved one with our Sunflower Appeal.

Personalised dedication sunflower plaques will be placed amongst the peaceful surroundings of the Hospice gardens for supporters to view and take home with them, making the day even more memorable for Sunflower Appeal supporters.

Summer Garden Celebration visitors can also dedicate a sunflower plaque on the day or you can reserve your special Hospice flower beforehand by visiting
