Two men stabbed in head in Alkrington

The Downs, Alkrington

Two men were stabbed in the head after they were attacked by three men on The Downs, Alkrington shortly after 10pm on Tuesday.

The two men got out of a car on the street and were attacked by a group of three men.

The first victim was stabbed in the head but managed to escape his attackers

The second victim suffered multiple stab wounds to the head and was hit round the face with what is believed to be a gun.

The men were taken to hospital to be treated and their injuries were not life-threatening.

Two of the offenders are described as being white, aged between 25 and 28, and of stocky build. The third was black and of stocky build. All three were wearing hoods and dark clothes.
