Man's body found in Rochdale flat

A man's body has been found in a flat in Rochdale.
At around 4.20pm on Monday 2 May 2016 police were called to a flat on Town Mill Brow in College Bank, Rochdale to reports that a man's body had been found.
Officers attended and discovered the body of a 61 year old man.
The man was discovered with various injuries and at this time the cause of his death is unknown.
Detective Superintendent Jon Chadwick from GMP's Serious Crimes Division said: "Enquiries are at an early stage and we are yet to establish exactly how this man died.
We are appealing for anyone who may know anything about this man's death to come and speak to police as soon as possible.
We expect further details to emerge in the coming hours and investigations will continue over night.
Anyone with any information about this man's death or his movements over the past few days is asked to contact police as soon as possible on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
