Man arrested on suspicion of murder following Qari’s death

A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder of the local Qari who died last night (Thursday 18 February), police have confirmed.
Jalal Uddin died after being found with a head injury on a children’s playground near South Street, Wardleworth.
A Home Office post-mortem examination is due to be carried out today.
