Date published: 19 October 2017

The Autumn Fair at St Andrew's, Dearnley, on Saturday, opened by the children of the St Andrew's Primary School choir, raised £1,200 for church funds.

A spokesperson said: "The children sang beautifully and set the tone for a hugely-successful event.

"The fair was well attended and there was the usual 'scrummage' around popular stalls such as tombola and home-made cakes and jams."
