Date published: 21 March 2017

Middleton Rotary held their Purple for Polio Tea Party at the The Old Boars Head to raise awareness about Rotary's quest for polio eradication on Saturday (18 March).

A cake bake competition also took place.

Rotarian Michelle Hallworth said: “There were some fantastic cakes baked, a great turnout and a really fun afternoon had by all.

“All winning bakers received vouchers to be spent at The Olde Boars Head.

“Thanks to all who participated and attended special thanks to The Olde Boars Head who provided the room, prizes and refreshments. You helped raise over £200 to help with the polio eradication.”
