Middleton Rotary donate £150 to Nordoff Robbins music therapy charity

Middleton Rotary has donated £150 to Nordoff Robbins, the the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and isolated people.

Anthony Clegg from Norden Rock Choir said: “It was a lovely surprise to find out that some of my choir members had been involved in the Middleton Rotary collection and, that at their request, they have decided to make a donation to the choir to pass onto Nordoff Robins.

“It was a very kind, thoughtful gesture and I’d like to take the chance to personally thank Middleton Rotary, as well as the choir members involved, for their generosity.

“Every donation to Nordoff Robins helps them to make changes to people’s lives via music therapy and will be very much appreciated.”

Keith Trinnaman, Middleton Rotary Club treasurer said: “In recognition of the fact that Rock Choir members Ruth McLoughlin, Bev Yarwood, Laura Symonds volunteered to help [with the Father Christmas float], Middleton Rotary decided to donate £150 to the Nordoff Robbins charity.”
