Rochdale Rugby Union Football Club was established in 1921, but has roots from as far back as 1867.

The move to the present facility was in August 2005 and we are proud that we have one of the most up to date and envied facilities in the North of England.

The club regularly acts as the host venue for tournaments involving visiting teams from across the country. As such the club is a leading ambassador for the town of Rochdale.

The club aims to provide the best for members, players and visitors that come to use our facilities.

At Rochdale RUFC, we not only provide opportunities for playing, but also for training. From a fully equipped gymnasium to the availability of specific outdoor training sessions, we try to ensure that all our playing members are catered for. The club has four senior sides and minis and juniors teams, which start at six years old through to colts at under 19s.

As a club we host a number of social events, we have established other links within the community from our ability to host functions and events such as, christenings, weddings and funeral receptions.

The club also offers excellent facilities for conferences and training days, with free wi-fi connection and the main function room seats 120 persons comfortably. In-house catering facilities are available to meet your every need and budget.

The club also has a very active business club, which meets on the first Monday of each month. The networking opportunities that are provided, make the small outlay in membership costs very cost-effective.
