Bluebird Care Rochdale named in top 20 north west home care providers

Date published: 26 July 2023

Local care service provider Bluebird Care Rochdale has been named as a top 20 provider in the north west by UK home care review website homecare.co.uk.

Bluebird Rochdale, which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary with a visit from Mayor Mike Holly, has been awarded the Top 20 Home Care accolade for the north west of England.

There are around 1,120 care providers in the north west registered with the Home Care Association, and 220 national Bluebird branches. Bluebird Care Rochdale is one of 14 Bluebird branches across the UK to reach top 20 status.

Director John Keogh said: “We are absolutely delighted to have achieved this status and won this award. This is something we have worked hard to achieve in the five years since we began this journey.

“We recently celebrated our fifth anniversary as a care provider and this award is one of many highlights during that period that has seen us through a global pandemic and all manner of other challenges.

“This award is absolutely down to the amazing people that we have delivering exceptional care and support across the borough of Rochdale and Whitworth.

“Our overall ethos is to ensure the people that we have working for us are at the centre of all we do and how we work. That way, they are happy in their work and bring that joy into the homes of our customers.

“We couldn’t be prouder.”

The annual Home Care Awards 2023 recognise 20 of the top-rated home care providers in each region of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland) based on reviews from service users/clients and their family/friends.

The awards are based on the provider's review score on homecare.co.uk, as of 31 May 2023.
