Examples of the sponsored link adverts being offered free to flood affected businesses
Rochdale Online is offering £450 worth of free advertising to flood affected businesses.
Managing Director of Rochdale Online, Pauline Journeaux, said: "It is heartbreaking to see the despair of small business owners whose business has been devastated by flood.
"We want to help those businesses once they have finished cleaning up, repairing and, if necessary, re-stocking.
"Any business (in the Borough of Rochdale) that has been flooded can contact us from Tuesday 5 January and once we have verified the business has been flooded we will give them a free sponsored link advert for three months on Rochdale Online."
Sponsored link adverts usually cost £450 (inc vat) for three months.
