Details:

A fundraising night named 'A Night For Maggie's - Laura's Charity Fundraiser' will be taking place in Heywood on Saturday 16 March, to raise money for Maggie's Cancer Charity, in support of local lady Laura Hayes.

The popular forty-year-old was diagnosed with cancer in early 2023 and will be receiving radiotherapy treatment in January. To show appreciation to Maggie's Cancer Charity for their help and support on her journey over the last twelve months, Laura and best friend Ellis Sanderson, also from Heywood, have decided to host the night to raise funds as a thank you to the charity.

The over 18's event will take place at St James Hall in Heywood and feature a full night of music and dancing.

Heywood born DJ Dave Sweetmore will be a guest on the night, playing his first DJ set in the town for over a decade. He'll be joined by former Heywood club DJ Nick Robinson, and Radio Presenter Laura Beth, who will be playing a mixture of music from all eras.

Live music will come from Jake Owens, Tom Fernandez and Chris Owen, all of whom became friends with Laura whilst out in the pubs and bars of Heywood.

Tickets for the fundraising event are £10 each, and now available online on Skiddle (on the link below), by searching 'A Night For Maggie's'.

Doors on the night open at 7pm, and a fully licensed bar will be in place.

The night is supported and sponsored by Heywood businesses SDN Events and Bar Hire, Hung Up Fashion, More Than Training, and Pooches Dog and Pet Services.

The aim of the night is to raise as much money as possible for Maggie's Cancer Charity, and bring Laura's friends and family, and the town of Heywood together for this special night.

Entry fee: £10
