Meet the First Responders at Fire Museum

To mark the start of Road Safety Week 2023, Fireground Museum in Rochdale will be holding a special open day featuring displays by the emergency services on Saturday 18th November.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, Greater Manchester Police and National Highways will be showing a range of first response vehicles and exhibiting modern crash-rescue techniques in live demonstrations during the day.

Visitors can test their own driving skills with a full-size racing car simulator and learn about tyre safety. Alongside the latest equipment a range of preserved police and fire vehicles will also be on show.

The event runs from 10am to 4pm with free admission to the outside displays. Visitor parking may be restricted due to the displays taking place.
