Details:
999 Day is a national UK celebration day of the emergency services.
From 9.30 to 1.30 outside of Number One Riverside there will be a police mobile hub and squad car along with a fire engine. The North West Ambulance Service will be demonstrate resuscitation techniques. The Police Brass Band will be playing.
The 999 standard will be raised at 10am to commemorate the work of our 999 service men and women.
Before the summer holidays there was a schools competition to design a poster for the 999 services.
At 10.30 we will present the runners up with a goody bag and the overall winner with the prize.
