This year, Littleborough Scarecrow Festival organisers have decided to hold a launch party to kick off the scarecrow festival on Saturday 14 October.

There are many things planned:

• 1st, 2nd and 3rd best dressed scarecrow competition (to be judged by the Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale)
• Raffle with some amazing donations from local businesses.
• Scarecrow colouring competition
• Craft table and mini scarecrow making
• Cupcake and cooking decorating
• Special appearance by the musical tractor Big Rodge and guests
• DJ and games
• Musical games and dancing
• Stalls from local businesses
• Pizza and refreshments
• ...and many more surprises
