Fundraiser and launch event for The Russell Foundation at Darnhill Library and Parade on Sunday from 12 noon.

The Russell Foundation is founded by the mum (Tracy) and family of Callum Riley who was stabbed and murdered on Darnhill last year.

They are raising funds to organise their own youth events in Heywood, to give young people a place to go, whilst being surrounded by mentors. They want to tackle knife crime and help young people to not spiral into violence.
