Details:

Another fantastic line up sees some of the very best on the circuit here in Rochdale.

Liam Pickford (MC)

Well, what can we say about Liam? If Stewart Lee, Jack Dee and Morrissey ever had a child together then Liam is who they would call son. Liam started performing stand up in Manchester in June 2012. His unique style is a breath of fresh air to the circuit with Liam has crafted his own unique brand of stand up, mixing cleverly honed material and punchlines with excitingly unpredictable audience interaction. All this, mixed in with a hint of ‘whimsy’ and clever observations whilst delivered in a wonderfully unenthusiastic and grumpy style. Liam has become a circuit favourite and is destined for big things. A highly intelligent writer and fantastic performer who is as capable doing sets and compering. Liam is an act you will want to see time and time again.

Percy Savage

Percy reached the semi-finals of So You Think You’re Funny in 2021. 2022 included a 4 star review in the Lancashire Post, 2nd in Comedy Cellar Act of the Year and Finalist in Southport New Act of the Year. He is now gigging regularly for Manfords Comedy Clubs, Laughing Pug, Stagefright and has been on the line up for Ace Lips smashing his set.

Mike Carter

Mike is a stand up comedian from Liverpool.

He's been performing since 2015 after unknowingly completing a comedy course designed for the severely mentally ill. Since then he has been a finalist in six national competitions and a semi finalist in So You Think You're Funny as well as winning both Beat The Frog & King Gong multiple times.

Alex Camp

Alex is an upbeat, musical act, blending sharp, absurd jokes with catchy irreverent songs and combining his flair for crowd work with guitar skills to generate unique, hilarious sets that are a little different every time. Starting out in Tokyo, Japan with the renowned Stand Up Tokyo crew, opening for Aziz Ansari, Phil Wang, Lou Sanders, Neal Brennan and many more, he moved to Manchester just before the pandemic but has racked up spots at the Frog and Bucket, Hot Water Comedy, Alexander’s and more

Karen Bayley

Karen is a midlands based act hailing from Birmingham. Karen has been on the circuit for over a decade. She made a name for herself early on in her career reaching the semi-final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards and was later crowned the winner of the 2001 Komedia New Act prize, Karen Bayley followed by becoming the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award as well as reaching the finals of both the BBC New Comedy Awards Showcase and Babycham Funny Women.

Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence, combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle and some devastating one-liners make her a comedic force to be reckoned with a warm and welcoming with a delightfully saucy and spiky edge, her bold, no nonsense attitude strikes a perfect pitch with men and women alike.

Karen can be seen performing at all the established clubs and bookers across the UK. Karen has also been the tour support for Joe Lycett!
