Join City of Trees for a day of tree planting and woodland establishment at Bowlee Park, Middleton, Rochdale on Saturday 3rd December. No experience necessary - pop in for an hour or stay all day! There is three time slots available across the day.

Celebrate the end of National Tree Week with City of Trees by planting trees at Bowlee Park! They will be planting a range of native species to increase and diversify the park’s woodland areas. City of Trees will provide all the equipment needed including gloves and spades. Light refreshments will also be provided and toilet facilities available on site. Please wear suitable footwear such as sturdy boots and bring waterproofs in case of inclement weather.

  • Time: 10am - 3pm – Multiple planting sessions are available, (10am - 11.30am, 11.30am - 1pm, 1pm - 3pm)
  • Parking: There is a small car park off Heywood Old Road
