Details:

In conjunction with the open university RFP TRG. Rochdale Council and Madeleine Lindley.

Official opening and welcome by Mr Ai Ahmed, the mayor of Rochdale.

Authors and book signings (a limited number of tickets for some events)

Choral speaking winner 2022 will be awarded.

Free events during the day:

  • School's reading for pleasure stalls
  • Puppetry
  • Workshops
  • Music

Family Fun:

  • Willy Wonka's sweet stall
  • Book tombola
  • Story makers: authors of the future
  • Hook-a-book
  • Name the book character competition
  • Book hamper raffle (sponsored by Rochdale Round Table)
  • Story stones
  • Face painting
