St Andrew's, Dearnley will stage a Platinum Jubilee party, weather permitting outside in the Church grounds.

Delph Band and the choir from the Littleborough branch of the University of the Thid Age will play lead roles in the party, which starts at 2pm with a "blast" from the band, followed by a concert lasting for about an hour.

The choir will feature next, then there will be stalls, games, refreshments including scones, jam and cream, and plenty of red, white and blue.
