Details:
The parish church Rochdale, St Chad’s will be hosting a joint service, with the Ukrainian Association to pray for peace in Ukraine and for those who are affected by the conflict.
The service will be led by a combination of Church of England and Ukrainian priests, including The Right Reverend Mark Davies, Bishop of Middleton and Reverend Father Benjamin Lysykanech.
The service will include hymns and prayers in both English and Ukrainian.
Both MPs for the Borough of Rochdale, Sir Tony Lloyd MP and Chris Clarkson MP, and the Mayor of Rochdale, Asim Rashid, have confirmed that they will be attending.
All are welcome.
