Heywood Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (HAODS) presents Kinky Boots

Based on the 2005 film and inspired by a true story, this award-winning musical, with music by Cyndi Lauper, tells the story of Charlie Price, who has inherited a shoe factory from his father. Charlie forms an unlikely partnership with a cabaret performer and drag queen called Lola. Together, they produce a line of ‘kinky boots’ to save the business. In the process, the pair from different walks of life discover they are not so different after all.
