Details:
Join us for the official opening of Queer Portraits of Rochdale, a photographic exhibition celebrating the diversity of the local LGBTQ+ community in the Rochdale borough.
Local dance group Women in Touch will perform a new piece developed around the theme of progress within the LGBTQ+ community.
With generous support from the Greater Manchester LGBTQ+ Arts + Culture Network, Touchstones Rochdale worked with Manchester based photographer Lee Price and local LGBTQ+ people in Rochdale to capture portraits of queer identities. Over the past few months we met with local people from the LGBTQ+ community to offer wider representation and visibility of these communities.
This project is part of Rochdale in Rainbows, Rochdale’s annual pride event.
You can book free tickets via the link below.
