Fantastic volunteers have come up with a festive idea that guarantees community safety this Christmas without social contact - a Santa Express. This event will be running on both Saturday 18th December and Sunday 19th December, but with different routes.
Father Christmas will travel through Whitworth village in a custom built sleigh - look out for him from your doorstep or come to one of our stops and meet him!
The route for the Santa Express on Sunday 19th December is as follows:
5.15pm Red Lion
5.25pm Waingap View
5.30pm Coppice Drive
5.40pm Tonacliffe Way
5.50pm The Oxford
6.10pm Riddiough / Masseycroft
6.20pm Wallbank
6.45pm Whitworth Cricket Club
Please note - times and route may vary due to traffic and weather conditions.
Come and meet Santa at one of our allocated stops and collect a bag of sweets or wave to him from your window as he drives by!
