Fantastic volunteers have come up with a festive idea that guarantees community safety this Christmas without social contact - a Santa Express. This event will be running on both Saturday 18th December and Sunday 19th December, but with different routes.

Father Christmas will travel through Whitworth village in a custom built sleigh - look out for him from your doorstep or come to one of our stops and meet him!

The route for the Santa Express on Saturday 18th December is as follows:

5.00pm Travel along Market Street past Tesco Express
5.05pm Basils Restaurant
5.25pm Orama layby
5.40pm Cowm Reservoir
5.50pm Halfway House
6.00pm Barley View care home
6.05pm Leavengreave Court / Valley View
6.10pm Knowsley Crescent
6.30pm Britannia (as far as New Line)
6.45pm Facit Fold

Please note - times and route may vary due to traffic and weather conditions.

Come and meet Santa at one of our allocated stops and collect a bag of sweets or wave to him from your window as he drives by!
