This is our first festival but we are hoping to hold it annually with the proceeds given to a different local charity each year.
It is free to enter on the Littleborough Scarecrow Festival site and the closing date for entries is 10th September.
Maps will be £1 each and available at various local establishments. This year the charity is Re-use Littleborough, which supports families in need.
If you do not want to build a scarecrow you can still support us by buying a map and following the trail to spot them around our picturesque village.
