Our 3rd Annual Scarecrow Festival!

Maps of where the scarecrows will be are available from Craft Cottage (12 East Street, Wardle, OL12 9JZ) and Charlie's Coffee & Cakes (135 Ramsden Road, Wardle, OL12 9NX) from mid September. Priced at £1 each, all money goes to our chosen charity (to be confirmed).

Scarecrows will be up from Saturday 3rd October until Sunday 17th October. You can enter via the link below, from any Wardle address. Entries close on 31st August.

You can pop in The Hare & Hounds, Charlie's Coffee & Cakes, Or The Globe Inn for a spot of lunch. Or Mr Bakers Chippy & Tattersalls Bakery for food on the go.

We also have Wardle Village News which has plenty in! You can visit the park on Clough Street too.

On Saturday's between the above dates you can visit Craft Cottage to join in a Scarecrow themed Kids Craft Workshop running from 10am - 4pm.

We hope you have a lovely visit to our Village. The trail will take approx 2 hours and is a nice leisurely walk.
