Main Stage
- The Coral - The Coral, fronted by lead singer James Skelly, emerged during the early 2000s with their debut self-titled album making number 5 in the charts and immediately earning them a Mercury Music Prize nomination.
- The Hoosiers - Formed in Indianapolis, Indiana, by Irwin Sparkes (lead singer and guitarist) and Alan Sharland (drummer) their debut single 'Worried about Ray' shot to number 5 in 2007, with their follow-up debut album 'The Trick to Life' hitting the top spot and single 'Goodbye Mr A' making number 4.
- Mr Bloom and his band - The CBeebies favourite will be joined by his 4-piece band for a free lunchtime show guaranteed to get families dancing and singing.
- Alias Kid - The Manchester based 5-piece created quite a stir in the industry when they were signed to Creation Management by music mogul Alan McGee (Oasis, Primal Scream), within their 1st week of live playing.
- The Northern Soultrain - This Lancashire-based 9-piece have been filling dance floors and ballrooms for over a decade, playing the best Northern Soul anthems from the likes of Wigan Casino, Twisted Wheel and Blackpool Mecca, along with a sprinkling of Motown favourites too.
- Ione - Her eclectic mix of soul and pop with electronic sounds has already been played on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music.
- The Curious Incident - After an electrifying set last year, the band fronted by Kairo from South Africa are making a welcome return to our main stage.
- Megan Dixon Hood - This Cheshire-born 23-year-old combines haunting melodies with beautiful soaring vocals, delivering atmospheric and spine-tingling music with heartfelt lyrics.
- Between The Vines - This country rock 4-piece won this year’s ‘Feel Good Battle of the Bands’ competition, giving them a chance to play the main stage for the first time. Between The Vines are Mark Stelfox, Rebecca Whitehead, Kev Whitehead and Craig Fletcher.
- Dave Sweetmore - Popular hometown DJ Dave Sweetmore will host the main stage. The club, radio, concert and festival DJ is also the stadium announcer at the Crown Oil Arena and is nationally-renowned for his indie tunes.
