NatWest CricketForce event at Heywood Cricket Club

Details:

The annual NatWest CricketForce event will take place on Saturday 30 March at Crimble with more work scheduled for the Sunday for those that can’t get down. Work will start at 10.00am.

There is plenty of work to be done to prepare the old ground for another summer of cricket and help is needed with the following tasks:

  • Assembling the covers
  • Preparing the artificial nets
  • Paint sightscreens
  • Paint white bench supports
  • Put benches out around ground
  • Stain fence at the top of Fox’s bank
  • Stain Patio fence & picnic tables
  • Paint main gates
  • Paint porta-cabin
  • Prepare dressing rooms
  • Prepare umpires room.

All the equipment and tools/paintbrushes etc will be provided and bacon butties will be on the go, please come down and help in any way you can, it makes a huge difference!

The club is located off Woodfield Terrace, Heywood, OL10 4JE.

It is down the hill from Mutual Mill, next to the BMX track and backing onto the park.
