Details:
On most Sunday afternoons weather permitting, the society now operates a passenger service all through the year and the public are more than welcome to visit our track in Springfield Park.
We have many different locomotives running throughout the year, where for a small fee you and your family can enjoy the thrill of a journey behind a hand built model.
Not only can you enjoy the world of Model Engineering, your young family will also find much to amuse them in other areas of the park.
Springfield Park: Car parking, toilet, ornamental lake, children's play area, the largest park with open landscape and wooded slopes down to the Roch Valley.
Rochdale Society of Model & Experimental Engineers (RSMEE), founded in 1932, is one of the oldest societies in the country and is also a founder member of the Northern Association of Model Engineers.
Entry fee: Donations
