For the time being the Club will admit members only and their immediate families/households.
The Club building may only be accessed via the front door. Members are asked to give way to people exiting the club and stand back from the entrance doors (GG). The gate to the garden area is to be used only for members leaving the Club.
All members must register at the bar with the date and time of their visits (GG). Membership cards are behind the bar and should be collected by the member(s).
Members who are accompanied by children are responsible for supervising them at ALL times and should follow social distancing guidelines (GG).
The toilets where possible should be used by 1 person at a time, very young children and 1 adult the only exception. The outer toilets doors will be propped open where suitable, to allow for ventilation at all times (GG).
If possible, all payments at the bar should be made by contactless card before leaving the bar (GG). For the time being no ‘tabs’ will be available.
Standing and sitting at the bar is not allowed and 1 group member should collect drinks (GG).

SEATING
With members agreement and understanding ‘priority’ to areas will be as follows.
THE GARDEN AREA is for family groups, maximum of 2 households, with a 2 metre distance from other groups outside the family.
Up to 6 people from different households is acceptable, also standing with 2 metres distancing (GG).
Whilst the garden doors are in use the pool table will be covered and not used.
Where possible a ‘one way’ system from the garden, anti-clockwise, using the door in the function room corridor to re-access the lounge area will prevent conflicting movements, especially at the games room door.
THE FUNCTION ROOM will be Utilised when busy with the same arrangements, although 1 metre is allowed if necessary (GG).
The seating capacity in the function room is 60 persons.
THE LOUNGE is for the use of couples and family groups, as above, with a 2 metre distance from other groups, 1 metre is acceptable where necessary (GG).
The seating capacity in the Lounge is 40 persons.
THE GAMES ROOM will be for members who are alone, up to 6 in a group with distancing, and will use the ‘hatch for service. The seating capacity in the Games Room is 20.
If change is needed, please wipe coins and notes with hand sanitizer.
Members must not obstruct doors to allow distancing from people entering or leaving
a room, especially the games room door which will be propped open at all times.
Please try to keep to the left when approaching other persons.
Members using the ‘smoking area’ are asked to be aware of distancing when other members are passing to access the Club.
SNOOKER AND POOL is limited to 2 players, 2 from same household or 1 and 1 from different households (GG).
All wooden surfaces, cues and balls must be wiped with hand sanitizer when leaving the tables.
CLEANLINESS
Hand sanitizer dispensers will be placed around the Club, near doors and bar areas, and door handles, surfaces, including juke box and gaming machines will be ‘wiped’ at regular intervals (GG), members can assist in this and it would assist the Club if members used their own hand sanitizer.
The TV remotes will be used by bar staff only. The volume of the TV and Juke Box will be kept low to prevent members from having to shout to make themselves heard in normal conversation, there must be no shouting or chanting during televised events (GG).
NOTES
We all pride ourselves in the safety and wellbeing which our Club is known for.
Unruly behaviour by members and children will not be tolerated.
The Club reserves the right to limit the amount of alcohol consumed by any person and to ask any members to leave if any of the above RULES are transgressed.
Any member not maintaining the distancing rules, having been warned, risk being refused further service and if persisting leave themselves open to prosecution by the police (GG).
The staff as always have the full support of the Committee and will act as necessary to keep our Club safe at all times.
The understanding of all persons during this trying time will ensure the future of OUR Club.
Thank you. Woolworth’s Sports and Social Club Committee.
