How to Make a Booking at WCCA
Our Community Centre attracts a wide range of activities & events of which mehndi’s, weddings, parties, sari sales, meetings, consultations, conferences, AGM’s, etc. are popular.

The charges for the hire of our venue are based on User Group, Non User Group & Profit Making Group rates as shown below:

All bookings are subject to T&Cs, and subject to availability including a deposit of £100.00

WCCA CONDITION OF USAGE OF THE HALLS

(PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING)

1) it is expected that all users of the Centre and the staff team will treat each other with courtesy and respect. Aggressive behaviour or language will not be tolerated and will result in the removal of the group, if necessary with the assistance of the police. Legal proceedings will be taken where necessary.

2) All health and safety regulations including maximum person limits must be observed (Large Hall 300 & Small Hall 50)

3) We ask all our customers to respect the facilities in the building. Any damage or loss should be reported immediately to the community centre staff.

4) All our customers should leave the rooms they hire in the same condition they have found upon arrival.

5) The blocking of toilets by unsuitable items will result in the group being charged for the repairs.

6) The staff & Management Committee of WCCA disclaims any responsibility for any damage or loss of property belonging to any of our users.

7) All our customers are expected to comply with the relevant fire regulations as displayed throughout the building. Regular customers are expected to participate in and cooperate with our planned evacuation and emergency procedures.

8) Gas burners & cylinders are not to be bought in to the premises.

9) The Community Centre is a non-smoking building.

10) All usage of the community centre should be recorded on the booking form prior to the event. A copy of the booking form will be available to the customer on request.

11) Booking policy (User Group). All usage of the community centre should be recorded on the booking form prior to the event. A copy of the booking form will be available to the customer on request. All items stored in the community centre must be approved by the centre manager. These items will not be covered by our insurance policy. These items will not be recorded in the centres inventory.

12) Booking policy (Private functions & Non user groups) all usage of the community centre should be recorded on the booking form prior to the event. A copy of the booking form will be available to the customer on request. All booking involving food require a deposit of £150.00 which must be paid at the time of booking. The full booking fee must be paid not less than five working days before the event. Whilst every effort will be made to book private functions & sales, there will be occasions when other groups take priority.

13) Deposits: All deposits will normally be refunded within seven working days after the event. Part or all of the deposit maybe kept at the discretion of the centre manager to pay for any repairs, additional cleaning or additional services which may be necessary.

14) The customer must ensure that parents/guardians are responsible for the behaviour of their children. Children should never be left unsupervised.

15) Electrical Goods: If any group uses electrical equipment (i.e., lamps, musical equipment, etc.) they MUST bring in either of the two options below:

i. a receipt showing that the equipment is less than one year old. OR

ii. A certificate showing when the equipment was last electrically tested. This proof must be presented at least two days before the event.


Failure to do this will result in refusal to allow the use of such equipment on the premises.


THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, COUNCIL AND OFFICIALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO:


1) Enter the building at any time.

2) Remove from the building any person who is drunk or disorderly.

3) Refuse a booking on the grounds on political implications, or where the booking may offend the values of the community.

4) Cancel any booking where the hirer has neglected any of the regulations or terms stated regardless of any deposit paid. No claim can be made to the Management Committee or Council in respect of such cancellation.

5) Cancel or alter any bookings if it is felt that the needs of the local residents can be best served by doing so.


The rights will be exercised if agreement cannot be reached between the individuals/parties concerned.
