Volunteer
Members play a vital role in the running of the society. Show nights can be particularly busy and society members usually volunteer to help out in a number of different areas, and there are a number of ways to get involved upon becoming a society member.
Committee- Each year we elect a committee which consists of a chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer and a number of commitee members, who all contribute to the running of the society, how to take the society forward and selecting appropriate plays for perfromance.
Directing- Ever wanted to direct your own show? Well you can, we usually perform a handful of shows per year and new directors are always welcome.
Lighting and Sound- Help out with setting up on show week, get involved with technical rehearsals and learn how to operate the lights for the show, we are always on the look out for more people in this field.
Costume and Props- Help us select and purchase props for the shows and make and decide upon costumes for the characters.
Acting- Of course, a huge part of the society. Audition for plays, suggest some yourself and of course star in them!
