The Boom Boom is a youth based recording studio and media suite.
The Studio currently offers a wide range of opportunities for young people, within the music-making area.
These include:
- Sound recording
- Music production
- DJ & MC workshops
- Song / Lyric writing
- Remix workshops
- Sampling workshops
- CD cover and label design
To continue offering a professional service, the Boom Room aims to extend the activities it can offer and develop music making opportunities that cater for every aspect of music and music production, allowing young people to channel energy away from offending and causing anti social behaviour, into a constructive and enjoyable use of leisure time, where they can develop their talents and creativity.
