Intro
Spiral Dance is a community dance company based in Rochdale creating opportunities for all to dance, through participation, information, support and performance. We believe that dance is inclusive and can engage with people of all ages, abilities, levels of experience or cultural backgrounds. Dance can be inspiring and motivating and we have developed a variety of opportunities to get people involved.
We aim to:
- provide dance opportunities for all
- be the first point of reference and dance resource for the Rochdale Borough
- work with other organisations in the Borough to explore new ideas and encourage collaborations
- provide training opportunities that strengthen and develop the organisation and the further advancement of dance artists and teachers in the area
- promote the wellbeing of Rochdale through dance
- become a benchmark organisation in terms of a professional approach to community arts
