Reverend Anne Gilbert officially begun her new role as the vicar of Rochdale Parish Churches in June 2021, following the retirement of Vicar Revd Mark Coleman.

Her appointment marked new beginnings with the bringing together of a new team of churches - St Chad’s, St Mary in the Baum, St Edmund’s, St Luke’s Deeplish and St Peter’s Newbold.

Description of Church
The Parish Church is a Church within the Anglican Diocese of Manchester and is part of the Rochdale Team.
It serves the Town Centre of Rochdale and is responsible for the spiritual welfare of those who live, work and visit the town.
The Church welcomes all, young and old alike, to it's services and activities. It's regular services are in accordance with the Book of Common Prayer.
The Church has undergone considerable restoration work and the building is now being made available for the wider use of the community.
St Mary's is also the home of the Toad Lane Performing Arts Centre (TOLPAC).
There is a TOLPAC concert every Wednesday at 12.30 pm with refreshments from 11.30 am. Tickets are only £3!
