Rochdale Underwater Hockey Club are currently accepting applications from new members for their physical activity programme on Thursdays 7:30pm to 8:30pm at Oulder Hill Leisure complex.
You don’t have to be an athlete to be active – just willing to try something different. Have fun learning to play a unique sport. Underwater hockey is an excellent way to stay in shape. Interested? Ring for a chat 01706 373967.
We are a friendly, volunteer-led club for all family members, providing instruction and tuition in all aspects of the sport: equipment selection, skills, techniques and tactics, plus match practice and competition. Open to all levels of skill; from beginner through experienced, to international.
All ages: 8 - 80+ We have Junior and Adult sections, so starters can start at all ages. New starters should be able to swim 2 lengths of the pool, have water confidence and be happy holding their breath underwater. We provide equipment for beginners.
