- We’ve missed you!
We haven’t seen some of you for a while.
Now that the pandemic situation has eased considerably we hope you have the confidence to visit Rochdale Town Centre. All scooters are sanitized before each hire and the Town Centre businesses have Covid safety protocols in place to ensure that we are all safe. We need everyone to use the service to make sure we keep getting funding and can pay the bills. If every member hired a scooter just once a week it would make a big difference to the income and continuation of this valuable service. The new Shopping Centre opened in April 2020 and has some great shops and cafes, a new Cinema and an indoor Mini Golf attraction so why not use our service to visit Rochdale Town Centre and support local shops and services. You can visit our tourist attractions, meet friends and family, eat out or just watch the world go by. We look forward to seeing you.
- Mayors Charity 2021-2022
We have been chosen as one of the Mayor’s Charities again this year so we would be grateful for any raffle prizes to put in the pot however big or small. There will be some great fundraising events taking place that we will benefit from. Thank you in advance.
- Committee Members needed!
We are always looking to recruit User members of Shopmobility to join our Executive Committee. Our Constitution requires us to have 3. We have about 3 meetings a year where we discuss how to improve our Scheme and make sure that service delivery is excellent. If you are interested please speak to Michelle in the office who can advise and explain what this would entail. You can do it!
- Information leaflets
We are putting a few leaflets in each scooters shopping basket and would like members who are out and about to give a leaflet to anyone who asks where the scooter is from to help promote our service.
