2013 Charity Fund Raising Event
This year Rochdale Round Table along with families and friends are doing the
Manchester Off Road Bike Event.
The money raised will be distributed throughout local charities within the Rochdale area which chairman Danny Williams will present at various meetings throughout the year.
All the people taking part have a choice of 24, 31 or 37 miles.
When visiting this site or the virgin giving site you will have already probably discussed with the person you are sponsoring how far they are to go. Please remember that there are others that are doing the full 37 miles.
The routes follow a loop of canal towpaths, cycle tracks, dirt roads, single track and road, from the NCC to Marple and back via the Tame Valley. An extra loop goes up the Goyt Valley to the edge of New Mills, and a further loop goes into the Peak District to include some more technical riding. The routes go from urban ex-industrial landscapes to lush woodlands via farmlands and townscapes.
Round Table is all about putting something back into the community. RT55 raise through their small team of members, thousands of pounds a year for many local charities in the Rochdale area.
No matter what the value is you sponsor or whether it is towards an individual or the team contribution, your sponsorship will go a long way to achieving
the objectives of Rochdale Round Table in assisting local charities.
