Foulridge Canal Cruise
On Wednesday 8th of July thirty-four members, after visiting Boundary Mill, had a cruise along part of the Foulridge Canal. The one and a half hour cruise started from Canal Wharf at Foulridge near Colne Lancashire. The boat sailed through open countryside for the whole of the journey towards the village of Salterforth on the highest and one of the most scenic sections of the canal. We were served with delicious homemade scones with jam and cream together with tea or coffee. The day was sunny at times and everyone said that they enjoyed the journey and thanked Emily for organising the day.
