The British Red Cross Cancer Support Service provides practical support and peace of mind for older people with cancer and their carers.
Our friendly staff and volunteers can offer support with things like accompanying you to the shops, transporting and escorting you to hospital appointments, arranging the loan of medical equipment, preparation of a light meal, a sitting service, and more. If in doubt please just ask.
Eligibility: The Cancer Support Service is available for people aged 60 and over, with cancer, and their carer's living in Heywood, Middleton or Rochdale.
