Introduction
Multicultural arts & Media Centre (MAMC), formerly Multi Asian Arts Centre, is a community arts and media development organisation formed in 1987. It has been involved in providing high quality arts work for over 19 years. In 1994 it registered as a charity, and in June 1996, it opened a unique Arts and Media Centre, in its current premises, to develop quality creative activities, events, exhibtions and training in the Rochdale Borough, North West region and Nationally.
Our mission statement - Multicultural Arts and Media Centre works in partnership with a wide range of organisations to provide education in arts skills, business in the arts and media training, promoting of Asian and multi-cultural activities, training, education programme, volunteers training and organising festivals which value diversity and in which everyone has an equal chance to learn, participate and gain employment opportunities.

Administrative/Book Keeper (Part Time)
20 Hours per week
Salary (£ 12,205 per annum pro rata)
The Role
The role is based within the MAM Centre and its main purpose is to provide a comprehensive administrative/book keeping support services.
The person
We are looking for an experienced administrator/book keeper who can provide a range of administrative services to support the work of the organisation. You would be expected to arrange and minute meetings, receive callers and telephone enquiries, provide word processing services, book keeping and generate statistical information. Some unsocial hours are required.
