Youth & Children Activities
SUNDAY SCHOOL
We currently just have one child in Sunday school, but have occasional visiting families Children stay in church for the first part of the service and go into Sunday School after the second hymn. Please be patient with young ones as children who grow up in the church, feeling welcomed, will be more likely to grow into adults who come to church.
YOUTH CLUBS
ROCK SOLID.
Rock solid will explore Advent and Christmas as part of their December sessions. They will also have a chill out activity, such as a Christmas film. Session themes give young people an opportunity to ask questions and develop an understanding of the bible. There are also games on the themes, If you know anyone who has recently started High School they may want to come along to see what we offer. Rock Solid is for years 7 to 9 (Secondary School Ages 11 to 14) and we meet on Wednesdays in term time 7.30pm to 9pm . We welcome new members and old friends. Rock Solid does not meet during school holidays so the last session will be 18th December. It is likely that the first session back will be Wednesday 15th January (subject to weather. The leaders will contact young people if this has to change
MESSY CHURCH
Our Messy Church for December 14th is a Family Christmas party and is open for all the church as well as our regular Messy Church Families. We will have party games and food as well as a time of celebration. We will put a sign up sheet for those who wish to attend who aren't part of Messy Church, so that we have sufficient food.
We start with games from 4pm, and we aim to finish around 6pm having had something to eat. There is no charge but there is an opportunity (for those who wish) to make a donation.
Children must be accompanied by an adult (who will also enjoy meeting new friends).
Future Messy church dates will be posted on our Facebook page and church notice board
Please pray for all of the children, young people, and the families connected with our church, including Brownies, Rainbows and Beavers, who also meet in our premises.
