Youth & Children Activities
SUNDAY SCHOOL
We currently just have one child in Sunday school, but have occasional visiting families Children stay in church for the first part of the service and go into Sunday School after the second hymn. Please be patient with young ones as children who grow up in the church, feeling welcomed, will be more likely to grow into adults who come to church.
YOUTH CLUBS
ROCK SOLID.
Just before the February half term, the leaders and members of Rock Solid went out to the Bella Vista for a meal together as part of their Big Night Out. They enjoyed going to a proper restaurant and enjoying good conversations together. During the second part of the term, they will look at Lent and Easter themes, learning more about Jesus and the meaning of the cross.
If you know anyone who has recently started High School they may want to come along to see what we offer. Rock Solid is for years 7 to 9 (Secondary School Ages 11 to 14) and we meet on Wednesdays in term time 7.30pm to 9pm . We welcome new members and old friends. Rock Solid does not meet during school holidays so there will be no Rock solid on 19th February (half term)
MESSY CHURCH
Our next Messy Church is on 29th March 2025 and our theme is All Can Be Saved. We will have crafts and games on the theme. We start with a colouring activity at 4pm, followed by a time of celebration. We then eat together (adults and children) then we have crafts and games. We aim to finish around 6pm There is no charge but there is an opportunity (for those who wish) to make a donation. Children must be accompanied by an adult (who will also enjoy meeting new friends).
Future Messy church dates will be posted on our Facebook page and church notice board
Please pray for all of the children, young people, and the families connected with our church, including Brownies, Rainbows and Beavers, who also meet in our premises.
