Pennine Rendezvous 2018
The Pennine Rendezvous is an annual event run by the National Federation of Bridleways Association and aims to get riders from all corners of the Pennines to meet or rendezvous at a central place. It is at the heart of what bridleway groups and associations are all about so if you fancy taking part then read on.
This year's Pennine Rendezvous is being hosted by Rochdale and Bury Bridleways Association (RBBA) on Sunday 27th May and the rendezvous point is Lane Head, Rooley Moor Road at 12:30pm.
We have made plans for Milnrow & Newhey Bridleway's riders to ride over to Wardle where you will be met by Sarah Bamber of Wardle Bridleways, who will lead riders over to the rendezvous point. It’s probably not a route most of us have ridden before so it’s sure to be a great, eye-opening ride. Sarah will also lead you back over to Watergrove from which Milnrow & Newhey riders can follow a planned route back home.
Alternatively, if you have your own transport there is a circular ride you can do up at Rooley Moor.
Please check out RBBA website for more information.
Entry fee is £10 and everyone gets a rosette.
Entry forms are available from us (contact us here / on Facebook / at mnbggroup@gmail.com) or from Irene Pope irenepope10@sky.com at RBBA
