Introduction to The Carers Hub Rochdale
Who We Are & What We Do
The Carers Hub Rochdale provides a single point of access for all carers in the Borough and aims to ensure that carers have access to information, advice and a wide range of support services.
These support services are designed to not only help a carer to continue in their caring role for as long as they choose but to also reduce the impact the caring role can have on their own health and wellbeing.
The Carers Hub Rochdale primary aim is to provide Carers with a single point of access to a team of Carer Support Workers in fields such as mental Health, dementia, ethnicity etc. The Team support carers to produce an individualised support plan which will include 1:1 support, information advice and guidance, access to support groups, peer support including a 24 hours Chat Line, support to take a break through the delivery of a sitting in service and short break options, access to activities and training, support to access other services.
