Further Information
The ground floor heritage centre comprises two rooms which mount regularly changing Arts & Crafts exhibitions. The exhibitions are varied and comprise combinations of paintings, photography, ceramics and textiles by local artists. See Gallery Exhibitions for this year’s exciting programme.
On a quarterly basis, the Coach House hosts a craft fair to showcase the talents of local craftspeople. See Coach House Craft Fairs for more information and the dates of forthcoming fairs.
Annual events include the Rochdale Model Railway Society exhibition in April and the Rochdale Photographic Society Exhibition in September. In December, the community and visitors are invited to participate in the Annual Christmas Concert in the Harvey Room, accompanied by Littleborough Brass Band.
There is also on show and for sale, a range of art and craft work that changes every three months. This always includes a selection of the paintings of David Ainsworth & the late Gilda Dickinson and we are pleased to announce that photographer Roy Costigan & artist Elizabeth White have agreed to let us include their work on the same basis.
In addition to artwork the Coach House has a selection of hand-made ceramics, jewellery, quilts, greetings cards & textiles, as well as books & leaflets about local history & walks & information about local services, activities & events, travel, local businesses & accommodation & public information leaflets.
Please use the email form in Contact Us to request further information about the regular exhibitions. An application form to mount an exhibition or further information about how you can showcase and sell your arts or crafts based work can also be obtained via the ‘Contact Us’ email form.
