Minutes of the 101st meeting on 16th April 2013.
Present: Peter Evans (Chairman), Keith Hallam, Brian Holden, John F Kay, Keith Rosbotham, Roger Davis.
Apologies for absence: Cynthia Davis, Helen Evans, Iain Gerrard, Barry Horner, Cllr Ann Stott, Barbara Weatherley, Bob Weatherley.
1. Minutes of the last meeting (no 100) approved.
2. Durn Marina.
2.1 JFK had not been able to meet Peter Rowlinson of RMBC.
2.2 No progress on Schofield Street obstruction.
2.3 JFK advised no marina is scheduled in the Castleton developments.
3. Owls Scheme,
3.1 No information.
4. Akzo Site. (As advised by RD).
4.1 Coal Board had replied to RMBC letter advising of their records. This is sadly incomplete.
4.2 Developer has advised there were five seams. Different to what a previous report had stated. Also there were several errors in the letter. BC arranging to meet RMBC.
4.3 The Borough Solicitor (Deputy Chief Executive) had spoken to the BBC requesting a copy of the video taken at the Planning meeting; they had flatly refused to provide this and also put their refusal in writing.
5. Canal & River Trust. Rochdale Canal Society.
5.1 No news on Summit Lock House.
5.2 South Pennine Canal Festival 27/7 to 4/8. There are no details as to when this will be in Littleborough. A spread sheet is due to be available by 19/4. BHol and KH will endeavour to obtain details.
6. Neighbourhood Forum.
6.1 Dates for a meeting with the Head of Planning were advised. The date will be finalised prior to our next meeting and advised to all.
7. Next meetings: Tuesdays 21 May, 18 June and 16 July. All meetings at 19.30h in the United Reformed Church, Victoria Street, Littleborough.
