Intro
Jazz on a Sunday has been providing Jazz (traditional) devotees with excellent bands at Castleton for many years.
Concerts are held nearly every Sunday from Autumn to Spring and less frequently during the summer months. Bands travel from near and far, in 2002 alone bands have come from London, Devon, Cornwall, Scotland, Wales, Sweden, Holland and Denmark.
The survival of the ‘Jazz Club’ depends on the attracting back the fans who have ‘fallen by the wayside’, and a younger audience who having heard the music, will want to return on a regular basis.
