We held a Quiz Night in February to raise money to buy a tree in memory and a valuable member and friend, Sue Cannell. She loved plants and trees and we thought it was very apt. Also, somewhere for her family to visit. The tree was planted in July in Littleborough near to the canal. A few members went to watch it being planted along with her husband and daughter.
Inner Wheel Club of Rochdale
We meet every 4th Wednesday of the month for a meal followed by the formal meeting, including fund raising planning and often a speaker. 6.30pm for 7.00 pm at the Royal Toby.
We have four Executive meetings a year, a Charity Lunch every year, held at the Bellavista usually in May, and a monthly Book Club. We also have various fundraising events throughout the year.
