About us
Originally established in the late 1960's, Heywood Evangelical Church is an independent evangelical church located in Heywood which is situated between Rochdale and Bury. As you can see from the picture above, the church meets in a large house that has an extension hall built on to the back of it.
The church believes and accepts the Bible to be God's Word, and is committed to worshipping Him, and making Him known both to the local community and further afield.
The Church has always done a lot of work with children and young people and runs a youth work called Carmel which you can read about by following the link ‘What we do.’ We hope you enjoy looking at our website and you would be most welcome at any of our meetings.
