The Aim
The Aim of the Friends of St Edmunds are to Help preserve for the benefit of the people of Rochdale and the nation the building and historical architectural, archeological and environmental heritage, that may exist in and around the church of St Edmunds. Also to make and keep the public aware of the history, art, archaeology and architecture of the building whilst encouraging links within the wider community and educational establishment. Encouraging its use for suitable community activities and promoting events and raising funds towards the restoration of St Edmunds. Encouraging new volunteer members working alongside the CCT towards a brighter future for St Edmunds as a heritage asset.
